VintageView UK are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).
We may collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.
During online order processing, the type of information we will collect about you will include your name, address, phone number and email address. Your payment details, credit card etc will only be collected by the PayPal web site which we use to service your order payments. This payment information will be subject to the privacy policy of PayPal (Europe) and will not be available to us.
For offline orders, e.g. by telephone, we will collect your payment details for the sole purpose of inputting the required information into the PayPal Virtual Terminal payments system, which will then be used to process your payment (subject to their own privacy policy – PayPal (Europe) ). The financial information collected by us for this purpose will then be destroyed and not stored in any way by us.
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.
The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.
If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.
We may use information about you to send details of promotions, product launches, web site changes or any other information we may feel to be of relevance to you. You can at any time request us to remove any or all information we may have stored about you, or to see a copy of this information. We will never pass this information on to a third party without your explicit permission.
We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a “cookie” which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.
